Using the existing high volume hull of the Farr 56 Pilot House, this new deck saloon yacht has an interior arrangement and styling designed by “Design Unlimited” in keeping with the other yachts in BSI’s Deck Saloon range.

Internally, the focal point of the yacht will be the saloon, which will benefit from the large volume of the hull form and being lower in the yacht to the existing pilothouse saloons. The navigation area will be off the saloon to port while the walk-through galley will be on the starboard side. There will be space for a flat screen TV and ample room for navigation and communication equipment in the nav station.

There will be two alternative layouts for the 585, the difference being the owners stateroom will be aft or forward. This can be clearly seen on the proposed layout drawings.

Interior joinery will be in mahogany but is being used together with a variety of different materials to ensure that the yacht is modern in both style and finish. All interior fittings are of a high standard. It will be possible to have different interior woods as an option, e.g. American Cherry or teak.
