General

"Prime Suspect", a Mills 36 has been a consistent performer under IRC. Originally named "Quakka" she was the RORC Yacht of the Year and top scoring boat in 1998 and has a proven capability with success in both offshore and inshore racing. She was recently re-rigged with a non overlap IRC rig so is now even simpler and faster to sail.

This boat was built from e-glass and epoxy resin over a foam core, wet pre preg vacuum bagged and post cured. It has a steel fin and lead bulb. The rudder is built around a carbon stock with roller bearings.

Layout and Interior

From aft

From aft 2 quarter berths (port and Stbd) with adjustable pipe cots over the top. Two saloon berths again with adjustable pipe cots over the top which form back rests for the saloon. Galley to port with Origo 6000 Alchol stove cool box and storage. Chart table to starboard. Forward of the mast is a toilet to port (new 2007) and sail stowage.
